Due to lack of funding, It is with deep sadness that we close the doors to The Storehouse after 13 years of serving our community.

We have provided food for well over a half million people during that time, and every person had the opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus Christ.

We have been obedient to the best of our ability to obey Matthew 25:40 , "Whatever you do for the least of these my brothers, you do to me."

Thank to all who have supported this much needed work.  Jesus said "the poor you will have with you always."

Jack Cochrun Ministries, Inc., remains, but the DBA The Storehouse is closing.

Compassion without compromise,

Jack and Sandra Cochrun, Co-Founders 10/04/2003

It's That TOY TIME of Year

Nov 30, 2016

Thanks to Rose (pictured above with Gail, Patrice, and Tina) and all of our friends at Toy Time for collecting toys for our Christmas Bazaar.  The Bazaar provides clothes, toys, and other needs to homeless families with children in the area.  Toy Time is a unique, local shop in downtown Pflugerville that carries toys, games, and candy.  The folks there support us financially and partner with us in community events like this one.

If you want to help, bring in a new, unwrapped toy to Toy Time at 101-B Pecan St. West in downtown Pflugerville.

Thank you, Jersey Mike's!

Nov 11, 2016

Thank you, Alex, and the whole crew at Jersey Mike's in Pflugerville and the other locations (Cedar Park, New Braunfels and Kyle), who held a "spirit day" fundraiser for us in October and gave us coupon cards to raise funds for 10 days.  As if that wasn't enough, they also provided subs for our volunteers at the 5K (see below)!

Jersey Mike's is not just delicious subs but good people, too!

Halloween on Main St., Pflugerville

Nov 08, 2016

Every year at Halloween, the Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce hosts Halloween on Main St.  We were there with our truck to pass out candy to the kids and receive donations of food from the community.  Community events like this make Pflugerville a great place to live and work.  Thank you, Pflugerville Chamber!

Thanks to Chili's at Stonehill for supporting us with our "Chili's Gives Back" event on August 15th! Thanks also to our amazing volunteers, families, friends, and NEW friends in the Pflugerville community, who came out on a rainy Monday evening. Along with the generous food donations, this event raised $570 to feed hungry families!

Thank you, Woodforest!

Aug 18, 2016

We want to thank the Woodforest Charitable Foundation for their recent donation, pictured above, but even more for their continued partnership with The Storehouse and their spirit of giving back to the community.  Not only is Woodforest a donor, but Woodforest Bank is where we bank and Woodforest is also represented on our Board of Directors!  God bless Woodforest!

Pictured above is our executive director, Tina Lee, along with Brenda Ruiz, Natalie Wilson and Lori Jacobson of Woodforest at the Foundation's annual charity banquet.

Vision of The Storehouse refreshed.

Feb 01, 2016
Please read and pray that 2016 will be the year of Jubilee when we all join together in obedience and unity to reach "sustainability" for The Storehouse Food Mission.
The True Purpose of The Storehouse, Dec 08, 2015.
In 2003, The Storehouse Mission was born by the will of God in Pflugerville, Texas.
The vision for the Storehouse is, to be a Mission of the Church (at large), each Church taking part ownership as together we wage an all out attack on hunger and poverty in Central Texas.
The Storehouse is also to be a resource for the needs of the people within the Church so there will be food in God's house for all and plenty to share with others.
Finally, the Storehouse is to be an outreach from the Church. A place where people can volunteer and learn how to become "Servants of the King".
Let's come together as the Body of Christ and do all we can, together we can have Victory over Poverty.
Read Deuteronomy 15:7-..... and Matthew 25:31-46.
If you have experienced the Storehouse,
please like and share.
Compassion without compromise,
-- Jack L. Cochrun, CEO/C0-Founder
